Chengdu Tianfu International Airport ( IATA : TFU, ICAO : ZUTF ) is located in Lujia Town Airport Avenue, Jianyang City, Sichuan Province, China ( within the scope of the construction of the eastern new district of Chengdu ), 50 kilometers north of Chengdu Center, 50 kilometers northwest of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, and 14.5 kilometers northeast of Jianyang City Center. It is a 4F international airport, international aviation hub, one of the highest-grade airports in the Silk Road Economic Belt, and the main hub of Chengdu International Aviation Hub.    On December 6, 2020, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport was successful.  On March 25, 2021, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport completed the flight test.  On June 27, 2021, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport officially opened.    As of June 2021, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport has two terminal buildings with a total area of 71.96 million square meters.  Civil aviation station has 210 seats, which can meet the annual passenger throughput of 60 million passengers and cargo throughput of 1.3 million tons.
